Ключевыми потребителями станут автобусы и спецтехника, запланированные к приобретению для Волгограда. Точки реализации СПГ будут организованы на двух действующих автомобильных газонаполнительных компрессорных станциях (АГНКС).
Планируется, что уровень газификации Волгоградской области к 2027 году составит 98%. Общий объем инвестиций предусматривает более 35 млрд рублей.
Отмечается, что Волгоградская область приступила к развитию газотранспортной инфраструктуры в числе первых в России. Сегодня в регионе действуют 23 АГНКС, на компримированном природном газе работают более 3,6 тысячи единиц автотранспорта. До конца 2025 года планируется построить еще семь газозаправочных комплексов и переоборудовать 587 единиц транспорта.
