«My War and Me» is a 10-episode post-documentary film that tells the story of the first three weeks of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine through the video diaries of Ukrainians, which recreate the experiences of Ukrainians in different cities and circumstances - under fire, in bomb shelters, under occupation or in forced emigration. The project involved 100 actors who convey stories created through a combination of documentary and fiction texts: diaries, Ukrainian drama, poetry, interviews, and chronicles. The film shows how war changes people and their relationship with reality.

The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. Stocks dropped on Friday afternoon, as gains made earlier in the day on hopes for diplomatic progress between Russia and Ukraine turned to losses. Technology stocks were hit particularly hard by higher bond yields. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences.
