Утром побывал на Божественной литургии в Свято-Владимирском соборе. Литургию провел митрополит Симферопольский и Крымский Тихон. Владыка также произнес проповедь для всех, кто пришел на службу.
Затем состоялся крестный ход и чин великого освящения воды: митрополит Тихон освятил реку Героон и воды Черного моря.
Все, кто приходит сегодня в Херсонес, могут набрать освященной воды и совершить омовение — купель в Новом Херсонесе будет открыта до 21 часа, купания в море у берегов «Херсонеса Таврического» продлятся до 18 часов.
Дорогие севастопольцы, нам с вами повезло жить на святой земле — колыбели русского христианства. Пусть наша вера будет крепка и помогает нам!
