В «Новом литературном обозрении» вышло несколько книг Бориса Ивановича: «Трагическая эротика», посвящённая образам императорской семьи в годы Первой мировой войны, и «Товарищ Керенский»— новаторское исследование, посвящённое тому, как вокруг Александра Керенского формировался культ вождя народа.
