Случайно обнаруженное интервью режиссера Кэмерона Кроу про великое «Ванильное небо» (чёрт, пишу о нем третий раз за полтора месяца, пора пересматривать) напомнило, какой там суперсаундтрек: «A big part of people who discover the movie — it stays with them, in large part I think, because of the music».
Смешно про «Good Vibrations», играющую в фильме в важный и очень тревожный момент: Кроу говорит, что песня у многих ассоциировалась с рекламой популярной газировки, которая в свое время звучала из каждого утюга. «I remember thinking how unsettling it would be for someone to take the sunniness out of “Good Vibrations.” And … that happened. I’m sorry, I’m sure over time it will return to its orange-juice roots».
А моя личная ассоциация с этим OST («Ранним весенним утром после одного из похода в "Занозу", завершившегося попойкой у Копаловых, я сел в маршрутку на Степной, пьяно уснул на Поле Маккартни и проснулся на Бобе Дилане, уже на Маркса, проспав свою остановку») более не актуальна — в том числе и потому, что маршрутки №29 в Новосибирске больше не ходят кругами.
