Американская ракета New Shepard весной проведет 11-й коммерческий суборбитальный полет с туристами на борту, в состав экипажа войдут шесть женщин, сообщили в пресс-службе компании-разработчике Blue Origin, принадлежащей основателю Amazon Джеффу Безосу.

«Это первый полностью женский экипаж с момента полета Валентины Терешковой в 1963 году», — говорится в сообщении.

Среди участниц миссии журналистка, предприниматель и невеста Безоса Лорен Санчес и певица Кэти Перри.
