Ему предъявлено обвинение по статье о взяточничестве в особо крупном размере, предусматривающей до 15 лет лишения свободы.
Рябых, ранее занимавший должность заместителя командующего Центральным округом войск Росгвардии, уже был снят с этой должности на момент ареста. Ранее он командовал костромским полком внутренних войск МВД, занимаясь вопросами его ликвидации.
