Для полноты картины нужно еще посмотреть статистику по нашей республике. В 80-е годы в Карельской АССР в хозяйствах всех категорий насчитывалось 1,5-2 тысячи лошадей. Сколько их осталось сейчас — непонятно. В нынешней статистике Карелиястата они почему-то не учитываются.
