Мероприятие организовано Муфтиятом РД при участии Фонда поддержки исламской культуры, науки и образования.
Для участия в нём в Дагестан прилетели муфтии субъектов России, религиозные лидеры из стран ближнего и дальнего зарубежья. В рамках встреч экспертов со студентами обсуждались вопросы образования, религии, культуры, роль СМИ в контексте укрепления духовно-нравственных ценностей.
Секционные заседания проходили на площадках вузов: Дагестанского исламского университета, Дагестанского гуманитарного института, Гуманитарно-педагогического колледжа и Научно-клинического центра им. Башларова.
