GLENDALE, ARIZONA: A White girl was stabbed twice by a Black student as her horrified classmates looked on.
The attacker, Kaci Sloan, said she had considered two different people to attack but chose Mara Daffron because the other person was “a veteran” and believed the victim she decided on was “an easier target.”
"[A] witness described the defendant [sic] was sitting in the classroom at a desk and suddenly got up and ran at the victim as the victim entered the classroom and stabbed her multiple times," according to the probable cause affidavit.
A brave student named Matthew McCormick disarmed the brute and potentially saved Ms. Daffron's life.
Ms. Daffron suffered serious injuries to her spleen but is expected to fully recover.
