В г. Ветлуга 13 марта 2024 г. в дневное время суток в жилом доме был обнаружен труп женщины пенсионного возраста с признаками насильственной смерти в виде отчленения головы от туловища на уровне основания шеи. Из дома пожилой женщины похитили старинные вещи.
На место происшествия для координации действий правоохранительных органов незамедлительно выехал прокурор Ветлужского района Александр Захаров.
По данному факту следователями Уренского межрайонного следственного отдела СУ СК России по Нижегородской области возбуждено уголовное дело по ч. 1 ст. 105 УК РФ (убийство).
