ماسک‌های N95 وَلودار (که اکثراً وَلو (شیر) آن را فیلتر تصور می‌کنند و به آن فیلتردار می‌‌گویند)، 🚨برای استفاده شدن توسط «بیمار» و 🚨برای استفاده‌ی اشخاص در «محیط استریل» (مثلاً اتاق عمل) «❌مناسب نیست❌» زیرا شیر یک‌طرفه‌ی به کار رفته در آن برای تسهیل خروج بازدم در نظر گرفته شده و هوای خروجی را تصفیه نمی‌کند.
🔴 موقع خرید ماسک اگر شیردار و بدون شیر هر دو موجود است، در صورتی که تنفس کردنتان با ماسک‌های بدون شیر دشوار نیست، نمونه‌ی بدون شیر را خریداری بفرمایید که برای پیشگیری از انتقال بیماری هم نقش داشته باشد. (کسانی گمان می‌کنند این شیر، فیلتر است، و به‌اشتباه شیردار را ترجیج می‌دهند!)
