توصیه شده است پیش از کشیدن سیفون، درِ توالت فرنگی را ببندید؛ اما با توالت ایرانی که در ندارد چه می‌شود کرد؟!
باید از گذاشتن مسواک و خمیردندان در توالت خودداری کرد. باید اطلاع داشت که اشیائی که در توالت گذاشته می‌شوند بر اثر کشیده شدن سیفون آلوده می‌شوند.
