Я пишу об этом сотню лет.
Кажется, сто лет покоя нет.
И висит над лестницей, как встарь,
Отрывной советский календарь.
Утром, сняв листок очередной,
Вспоминаю... Этот год — второй.
"Нет же, — говорю себе в ответ, —
Русских убивают десять лет".
— Тридцать лет, — подсказывает мне
Календарь, распятый на стене.
И растёт над цифрой бахрома,
И грядёт военная зима.
По снегам пойдёт вперёд отец,
Сын пойдёт с Россией под венец,
Или я пойду к тебе сама,
Новая столетняя война.
