На первой картинке девушки в с короткими прическами и в платьях в стиле «ревущих 20-х» в 1925 году высмеивают моду полувековой давности (1875 г.) с пышными длинными платьями и сложными прическами. На второй — действие происходит уже в 1976, девушки в мини-юбках и топах, практические лысые (с выбритыми головами с пучками волос) точно также угорают уже с моды 20-х годов прошлого века.
Удивительно, но художник попал в точку — мода на мини-юбки и топы началась с 60-х и продолжилась в 70-х!

Upd. Автор — замечательный художник Этель Хейс, рисовавшая ставшие культовыми карикатуры и короткие газетные-журнальные комиксы про девушек-флэпперов 1920-х, юных, смешных, забавных и... невероятно привлекательных.
