Вероятно, перед нами изображение не взрослого животного, а детеныша, на это указывает отсутствие заметных бивней, весьма характерных для мамонтов как самцов, так и самок. Размеры всего 3,7 х 2,7 х 1,4 см, вес — 7, 5 грамм. Период верхнего палеолита, ориньякская культура. артефакт найден в 2007 году в пещере Фогельхерд, Швабская Юра, земля Баден-Вюртемберг, Германия.
