В Казахстане готовится к запуску первый в ЕАЭС трамвай, выпущенный с участием Китая

Пробный запуск односекционной машины ожидается в Темиртау в начале октября. Восстановлением трамвайного движения в городе с апреля занимается компания Qarmet, владеющая находящимся в нем Карагандинским металлургическим комбинатом (ранее принадлежал индийской ArcelorMittal). Проект предусматривает закупку 8 трамваев.

Пока в Темиртау поступил один трамвай. Сроки поставки остальных машин и их модель не раскрываются.

Данные о происхождении трамвая пока расходятся. Так, телеканал КТК сообщает, что машины закупаются из Китая. В то же время на ливрее трамвая виден логотип завода QazTehna, расположенного в казахстанском Саране. Эта площадка была запущена в 2021-м как СП с китайской Yutong для сборки автобусов и строительной техники.

Трамвайное движение в Темиртау функционировало с 1959 по 2023 год. Парк состоит из более 30 машин моделей 71-605 от УКВЗ и KT4DM от чешской Tatra.
