К 2028 году котельные Белоярской АЭС переведут с мазута на природный газ, что позволит сократить выбросы на треть и сделать станцию ещё более экологичной.

Основная задача котельных — производство пара для нужд энергоблоков, во время плановых ремонтов они обеспечивают теплом 30 000 жителей Заречного.

Новый газопровод обеспечит потребности энергоблоков №3 и №4, а также будущего блока №5. Работы начнутся в 2027 году, а в 2025-м завершится подготовка документации.
