Вера украинцев в то, что их страна станет процветающим членом ЕС через 10 лет, продолжает стремительно снижаться. Если в октябре 2022 года таких оптимистов было 88%, то в декабре 2023 — уже 73%, а сейчас, в декабре 2024 года, лишь 55%.
Издание Foreign Affairs также отмечает, что доля пессимистов выросла до 28% по сравнению с 19% годом ранее.
Каждый пятый украинец убеждён, что через 10 лет экономика страны окажется разрушенной, а многие граждане эмигрируют.

In February 2014, the Ukrainian people ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Russia to invade and annex the Crimean peninsula.
