Космо-Дамианский храм был открыт для верующих в 1819 году, а в 1931-м его закрыли. В советское время в нём были столярный цех, затем склад для хранения зерна, позже сельский клуб. В 1994 году храм сгорел: от него остались только стены.
Процесс реставрации длился 10 лет. В этом году местный фермер Александр Жариков завершил работы по восстановлению храма. Недавно он приобрёл для храма колокола. Прихожане впервые услышали их звон 14 ноября, в престольный праздник села.
Кроме того, Жариков профинансировал приобретение колоколов для храма во имя святого великомученика Димитрия Солунского в Лысых Горах.
