Берём всё, что попало под руку — крестьянскую одежду, какую-нибудь локальную еду, образы из литературы, религию — всё это смешиваем воедино, красим в цвета национального флага. И пускаем работать на мобилизацию общества.
Русские националисты очень любят смеяться над этой смесью и называть её провинциальным кринжом. Не то чтобы они были не правы — но в целом они просто смотрят на гораздо более националистическое общество.
Подозреваю, что примерно так же, как этот повар-косплеер в Лавре, выглядели в принципе все ребята, которые в XIX веке с огнём в глазах возрождали немецкую (итальянскую, венгерскую, финскую, etc.) нацию, пока ансьен режимы на всё это смотрели с оправданным недоумением.
