🧬 Митохондриальную ДНК мамонта, обитавшего на юге современной России, ученые изучили впервые. Ранее методу поддавались только кости, найденные на севере, так как из-за мерзлоты они лучше сохранялись. Современные оборудование и методы позволили приоткрыть завесу тайны.
Исследования на этом не заканчиваются.
