Губернатор Евгений Куйвашев подписал постановление о создании в регионе совета по стратегическому планированию. Это постоянно действующий совещательный орган для экспертизы проектов социально-экономического развития региона и муниципальных образований.
Персональный состав новой структуры пока не утвержден. Но ответственным назначен первый заместитель губернатора Алексей Шмыков, его замом станет министр экономики Руслан Садыков. Совет будет состоять из президиума и экспертных советов: "Власть", "Наука", "Бизнес", "Общественность", "СМИ".
Ранее в регионе уже существовал аналогичный орган. В 2015 году был создан координационный совет по стратегическому планированию в Свердловской области. Однако структура активно работала только до 2019 года, затем заседания стали редкими и непубличными.
