В Холмогорском округе ветерана Великой Отечественной войны Елизавету Юн поздравили с 8 Марта. В гости к ней приехал глава округа Виталий Дианов. Он передал памятный подарок и поздравления от областного правительства.
Елизавета Васильевна родилась в 1923 году и встретила войну 18-летней девушкой. Сначала она работала помощником повара, потом трудилась на оборонных объектах — заготавливала топливо для паровозов, сажала картофель, собирала грибы.
Позже её направили на передовую — в составе железнодорожных войск Ленинградского фронта она участвовала в строительстве Дороги жизни и угольных шахт для снабжения блокадного Ленинграда.
За вклад в Победу Елизавета Юн награждена орденом Отечественной войны II степени, медалью «За доблестный труд в Великой Отечественной войне» и знаком «Фронтовик 1941–1945 гг.». В этом году ей также вручили юбилейную медаль «80 лет Победы».

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. "The result is on this photo: fiery 'greetings' to the invaders," the Security Service of Ukraine wrote alongside a photo showing several military vehicles among plumes of black smoke. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections.
