2 марта в регионе впервые отпраздновали новую памятную дату — День Боевой и Трудовой славы вологжан в годы Великой Отечественной войны. 2 марта 1943 года вологодская делегация передала танковую колонну «Вологодский колхозник» 1-й танковой армии под командованием генерал-лейтенанта М.Е. Катукова. На строительство колонны собрали более 67 млн рублей. Эти машины участвовали в Курской битве, став символом единства тыла и фронта.

One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill.
