В 1985 г. в проливе Вя́йкевя́йн, в естественной бухте недалеко от развалин замка Зонебург (эст. Мааси) был найден остов судна.

Дендрологическая экспертиза древесины установила, что судно было построено из местной древесины срубленной в период между 1543 и 1546 гг.

Исследователи считают, что судно было 15/16 м. в длинну и около 6 м. в ширину. Судно из Маасилинн было отнесено ушкуям (эст. uisk).

Предположительно "ушкуй" стаял на якоре в 350 м. от нынешней береговой линии, на судне случился пожар и оно затонуло. Огонь сохранил части судна только расположенные ниже ватерлинии.

Остов судна из Маасилинн хранится в морском музее города Таллинн.
