Парламент Молдовы назначил Еуджена Карпова председателем Совета директоров Национального агентства по регулированию в энергетике (НАРЭ). Его кандидатуру поддержали 55 депутатов.
Новый глава НАРЭ имеет юридическое образование и с 2019 года занимает должность директора агентства.
Ранее Карпов состоял в рядах ЛДПМ, после чего вместе с Юрием Лянкэ и другими однопартийцами создал новую Европейскую народную партию Молдовы, которая немногим позже примкнула к Демократической партии Владимира Плахотнюка.

Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content. "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said.
