В рамках розслідування кримінального провадження, розпочатого за цим фактом, правоохоронці встановили його місцезнаходження та провели там обшук.
Наразі військового затримано в порядку ст. 208 КПКУ та вирішується питання щодо повідомлення про підозру.
Його дії кваліфіковано як дезертирство (ч. 4 ст. 408 КК України).
Слідчі дії тривають.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. "There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices. "For Telegram, accountability has always been a problem, which is why it was so popular even before the full-scale war with far-right extremists and terrorists from all over the world," she told AFP from her safe house outside the Ukrainian capital.
