متوکلوپرامید می‌تواند حجم معده را در کمتر از ۱۵ دقیقه به میزان قابل توجهی کاهش دهد.
آنتی اسید به همراه آنتاگونیست های h2 بهتر از آنتی اسید به تنهایی در کاهش اسیدیته معده هستند.
