A study from Stockholm University reveals a fascinating twist on conception: the egg doesn’t just passively wait for a winner in the sperm race—it actively chooses its partner.
The egg releases chemoattractants, chemical signals that guide the desired sperm toward it while repelling others.
This means you weren’t just the fastest; you were the selected one!

~ Damnation ~
There has been a popular notion within the New Age movement that the concepts of morality and damnation in the afterlife are the inventions of Abrahamic religions and have nothing to do with ancient polytheist systems. When one examines these systems it is easy to discern the truth that most of the religions in the world have some form of concept surrounding punishments of the dead that were immoral or evil in their lives. Let us begin by going over a short list of such beliefs from around the world, to demonstrate the prolific nature of such a concept:

A flock of crows is often called a "murder".
"This term has been used for centuries, and its origin is thought to be linked to the crows' association with death, scavenging, and their sometimes aggressive behavior. "

A section of spalted maple, the black walnut was unforgiving with mistakes so I decided I'll build my first stalli out of this maple.
Would have been more presentable if the band saw didn't break the dam tensioner handle.
After and when the first build is successful I will open shops and take communions.

Tomorrow we hail the Fathers
On this day, we honor fathers—those who walk amongst their folk, those who have passed on. Among the Germanic folk, fatherhood is more than lineage; it is a sacred duty, a forging of bonds stronger than any steel or iron. It is a privileged duty that the Goðin bless you with a descendant.
To the fathers who stand as pillars of our Folk, who lead their kin with honor and duty, we raise our horns in recognition. Like Odin, who sought wisdom to guide his own, or Thor, who wields his might to protect, fathers shape the destiny of their kin through their deeds.
May your halls be filled with laughter, your name spoken with reverence, and your legacy endure like the stones of the ancient world. Hail to the fathers, the shield-bearers of the hearth!
