В Бишкеке, в Кыргызском национальном академическом театре оперы и балета имени А. Малдыбаева прошла церемония вручения первой в истории страны премии «Мейкин», учрежденной для поддержки и признания достижений в области журналистики и медиа.
Основная цель премии – стимулировать развитие журналистики в стране, повышать престиж профессии и поощрять высокие стандарты в медиасфере. Всего на конкурс поступило около 250 работ. Призовой фонд премии составил 10 млн сомов. Победители в 10 номинациях получили по 1 млн сомов.
Как сообщило ИА Кабар, в церемонии приняли участие президент Садыр Жапаров, глава службы информационной политики администрации президента Дайырбек Орунбеков, журналисты, блогеры и медиа-эксперты.
