«Храбрый маленький охотник» самостоятельно покинул мелководную бухту и направился в океан

После пяти недель усилий коренных народов Канады и небольшой коалиции морских экспертов осиротевшая косатка, застрявшая в лагуне у острова Ванкувер, самостоятельно выплыла в более глубокие воды.

В пятницу, 26 апреля, во время прилива косатка была заманена в выход в лагуну членами общины коренных народов с помощью надувной лодки и мяса морского льва.

Китенка назвали киисахииса (kwee-sahay-is), что означает «храбрый маленький охотник». В марте мать-косатка с двухлетним детенышем вошли в мелководную бухту на северо-западном побережье острова Ванкувер. Через несколько дней, во время охоты, взрослая косатка перевернулась на бок, а затем выбросилась на берег.

So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
