Памятник Шевченке стоит не только в центре Донецка, как пишет уважаемый Иван Скориков, но и в центре Луганска. Причем там совсем недавно Россия провела реконструкцию парка, но памятник так и остался главной скульптурой.

Оцените - памятник "Крестному отцу украинского национализма" (по выражению председателя Союза писателей ЛНР Глеба Боброва) стоит на площади Героев ВОВ (Тарасик, видимо, герой ВОВ). И прямо перед местом, где 2 июня 2014 года украинский самолет расстрелял мирный митинг пророссийских граждан.

При этом памятника основательнице города, Императрице Екатерине Великой, в Луганске до сих пор нет.
