Кировский районный суд г. Санкт-Петербурга рассмотрел иск Ирины Воскобойниковой к Виталию Милонову.
Истец просила суд признать сведения о ней, как об изменнике Родины, сотрудничающей со специальными службами Украины, распространенные Милоновым в медийных интернет-ресурсах, не соответствующими действительности, порочащими честь и достоинство, обязать опровергнуть данную информацию в телеграм-канале ВИТАЛИЙ МИЛОНОВ, а также взыскать моральный вред в 1 000 000 рублей.
Суд требования истца удовлетворил частично, признав сведения о Воскобойниковой как об изменнике Родины, сотрудничающей со специальными службами Украины, не соответствующими действительности. Суд обязал Милонова опровергнуть данную информацию в ТГ-канале ВИТАЛИЙ МИЛОНОВ. Суд взыскал с Милонова в счет компенсации морального вреда 150 000 рублей.

The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores.
