Während in Deutschland Panik wegen ein paar Tweets von Elon Musk ausbrach, besuchte ich zusammen mit Mary Khan und Dennis Hohloch das America Fest in Phoenix, Arizona. Beim größten konservativen Kongress in den Vereinigten Staaten wollten wir uns über den erfolgreichen Wahlkampf von Donald Trump informieren sowie Kontakte zur republikanischen Partei und der zukünftigen US-Regierung knüpfen. Es waren sehr interessante drei Tage, die Hoffnung auf eine bessere Zukunft auch in Deutschland machen. Es tut sich etwas, nicht nur in den USA! 🇩🇪

In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides.
