Дом семьи Лопатиных построили во второй половине XIX века. Сейчас он находится в списке объектов культурного наследия регионального значения.
Памятник архитектуры требует ремонта и реставрации: на окраске фасада появились трещины, стены отсыревают. Поэтому прокуратура обратилась с иском в суд.
Владельца прав на здание – «Ставропольский краевой зооэкзотариум» – обязали выполнить охранные обязательства и отреставрировать Дом семьи Лопахиных.
Прокуратура контролирует исполнение решения суда.
