При этом, машинист пассажирского поезда «Архангельск- Москва» издалека увидел автобус и даже успел подать 2 звуковых сигнала. Однако, по предварительным данным, снижать скорость он не стал - вероятнее всего поезд в любом случае не смог бы остановиться.
Водитель автобуса и еще 6 пассажиров ПАЗа погибли на месте. Машинист поезда и 2 пассажиров автобуса получили травмы.
