И долго еще поколение, получившее название «афганцы», будет нести в себе скорбную память о героическом и трагическом времени.

В Республике Беларусь признание подвига воинов-интернационалистов остается неизменным.

Монументы и памятники советским солдатам установлены во многих городах и поселках Беларуси. У них сегодня проходят памятные мероприятия, к которым присоединились белорусские таможенники, их семьи, ученики таможенных классов, студенты специальности «таможенное дело».
