Центральная комиссия референдума РК установила итоги республиканского референдума Согласно полученным данным, общее число граждан Республики Казахстан, имеющих право участвовать в референдуме, составило 12 миллионов 284 тысячи 487 человек. Число граждан, принявших участие в голосовании, составило 7 миллионов 820 тысяч 204 человека, или 63,66 % от числа граждан, имеющих право участвовать в референдуме. Число граждан, проголосовавших за положительное решение вопроса, вынесенного на референдум составило 5 миллионов 561 тысяча 937 человек или 71,12 %. Таким образом референдум считается состоявшимся. По вопросу, вынесенному на референдум, принято положительное решение.
