براساس داده‌های مرکز آمار، نرخ فقر شدید در کل ایران حدود ۶ درصد با جمعیتی حدود ۵ میلیون نفر بود و برنامه‌هایی ریخته و منابعی داده شد که بتوانیم این را از بین ببریم.
