Прочитал про сомов-людоедов (ну и гадость!) из Средней Азии. Вспомнил: а ведь у нас, в России были рыбы куда крупнее! И безопаснее: людей не ели, сами попадали на стол к человеку. Узнаете по фото? Знаменитая белуга, рыбка семейства осетровых.
Природа отмерила ей долгий век: белуга может жить до 100 лет (жаль, не дают) и вырастать до огромных размеров. 11 мая 1922 года в Каспийском море, у устья Волги, рыбаки поймали самку белуги, которая весила 1224 кг (причём 667 кг весило её туловище, 288 кг - голова, а 146,5 кг - икра, чёрная. Из-за икры и ловят белуг браконьеры).
Но и такой вес для царь-рыбы - не предел. Известно, что самую крупную белугу поймали в низовьях Волги в 1827 году. Вес рыбы составил 1474,2 кг. Наверняка это была вековая белуга. Запросто могла помнить царя Петра :)
Ну а белуга на фото была поймана в Волге в 1921 году. 960 кг! Пожалуй, это один самых известных "фотопортретов" белуги.

But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today."
