С 1978 года — актёр и режиссёр киностудии «Мосфильм». Известность пришла к нему после выхода на советские экраны двух картин Эльёра Ишмухамедова под названием «Нежность» и «Влюбленные». Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments.
