Реставрационные работы проходили на воротах «Орта-Капы», которые относятся к числу древнейших в городе
В ноябре 2020 года из-за затяжных проливных дождей у ворот была разрушена часть Дербентской стены. Работы проводились в два этапа с июня по ноябрь 2021 года и с июня 2023 года по декабрь 2024 года. Также для жителей и туристов Дербентским музеем-заповедником были установлены скамейки.
«Были проведены работы по устройству временной консервационной кладки, укреплению кладки в участках обрушения методом инъектирования», – сообщается в телеграм-канале Дербентского музея-заповедника.
Ворота Орта-Капы ведут в сторону Джума-мечети – одного из самых древних памятников города Дербента. В 2003 году ЮНЕСКО внесло цитадель Нарын-Кала, древний город, в том числе Джума-мечеть, в список Всемирного наследия как выдающиеся памятники Сасанидской империи и последующих культур.

The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee.
