Тыква по-немецки будет der Kürbis / die Kürbisse, вырезать тыкву - Kürbis schnitzen / schnitzte / geschnitzt, а вычистить тыкву от внутренностей - Kürbis aushöhlen / höhlte aus / ausgehöhlt.
А уже в пустую тыкву надо положить свечку - die Kerze / die Kerzen.
