Oh no. There’s a certain degree of myth-making around what exactly went on, so take everything that follows lightly. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% and 2.2%, respectively. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off. False news often spreads via public groups, or chats, with potentially fatal effects.
