. ليس العجب أن يشكر العبد ربه وأن يثني عليه؛ فالعبد يذكر ربه ويثني عليه ويشكره، لأنه عبد لله! ولكن الفضل والشرف أن يشكر الرب عبده! ولقد سمّى الله نفسه باسم الشاكر والشكور، فقال سبحانه: ﴿مَّا یَفۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمۡ إِن شَكَرۡتُمۡ وَءَامَنتُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِیمࣰا﴾. وذكر في كلام أهل الجنة: ﴿وَقَالُوا۟ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَذۡهَبَ عَنَّا ٱلۡحَزَنَۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورࣱ شَكُورٌ﴾. وقال تعالى: ﴿وَمَن یَقۡتَرِفۡ حَسَنَةࣰ نَّزِدۡ لَهُۥ فِیهَا حُسۡنًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ شَكُورٌ﴾. فلمّا ذكر الله إكرامه لعبد وإحسانه بالحسنى جزاءً للحسنة ختم ذلك باسم الشكور.
وشكر الله للعبد يكون على أنحاء: - فمن شكر الله لعبده أن يوفقه للطاعة بعد الطاعة، فجزاء الحسنة حسنة بعدها، ولذا كان بعض السلف يرجو القبول إن رأى تيسير الطاعة بعد الطاعة.
- ومن أعظم وجوه شكر الله لعبده أن يتقبل طاعته بأعظم قبول فيجزيه على العمل اليسير بالجزاء الكبير. كما ثبت في الصحيحين عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن النبي ﷺ قال: «مر رجل بطريق فوجد غصن شوك فأخره عن الطريق فشكر الله له فغفر له». فجازاه بعمله اليسير سعادة الدارين.
