Погибшего во время военной операции на Украине контрактника зовут Игорь Василенко. Ему 27 лет, его семья переехала из Башкирии в Нижневартовск. В ХМАО он учился в школе в МБОУ «СШ №15». После подтверждения гибели бойца в ней был организован уголок памяти.
Василенко служил по контракту с 2015 года. У него осталась жена в Брянской области и сын 2019 года рождения. Мама погибшего живет в Нижневартовске.
Сейчас власти региона оказывают близким военнослужащего всю необходимую помощь.
