Обвал на "Пионере" (принадлежит золотодобытчику "Покровский рудник") произошел 18 марта. По данным МЧС и компании, в руднике находилось до 13 человек. По данным прокуратуры, под завалами могут быть до 15 человек.
Спасательные работы начались сразу после ЧП. На помощь специалистам рудника прибыл отряд горноспасателей МЧС из Нерюнгри и Хабаровска, к месту следуют и спасатели из Приморского края. Мобилизованы медработники для эвакуации пострадавших, в т.ч. с использованием санитарной авиации.
Горняки находятся на глубине около 125 м. По данным МЧС по Амурской области, вентиляция воздуха там работает, но связаться с ними невозможно.
