20 декабря 2024 года, увидев на улице мужчину в гражданской одежде и понимая, что тот не представляет опасности, он выстрелил ему в спину. От полученного ранения пострадавший скончался на месте преступления.
Ленинским районным судом города Курска Парафило избрана мера пресечения в виде заключения под стражу.
