На трамваях «Горэлектротранса» в Санкт-Петербурге завершились испытания систем накопления энергии на основе суперконденсаторов отечественной компании «ТЭЭМП». Проведенные по во время мероприятия замеры показали не только сокращение расхода электроэнергии на тягу трамвая от контактной сети до 47%, но и снижение пиковой токовой нагрузки с тяговых подстанций до 2 раз. Кроме того, на 17% упал общий расход электроэнергии трамвая от контактной сети.
Таким образом, можно констатировать — применение новых технологий при организации трамвайного движения разгрузит петербургскую контактную сеть, что позволит вывести дополнительные составы на линию и увеличить пропускную способность маршрутов.
